“The frame is built entirely from the finest stainless-steel in existence: Reynolds 931.”

Keep going. Don’t give up. Stay ahead of the pack. Anyone who is chasing a distant goal, has to work hard.
This was our starting point, as we designed this expedition-ready touring bike.
The Reynolds 931 tube set allows tube thicknesses down to 0.38mm, which as well as reducing weight, improves vibration absorption. The alloy is completely corrosion-proof, which means that paint is not necessary. We apply an exquisite hand-polished finish, before adding the Rennstahl name with a sandblasting process that uses a special mixture of quartz sand and glass beads. The result: no paint, no stickers, just minimalism in its purest form. A bike that in its absolute reduction to the essentials has no equal. Its pairing with the Falkenjagd titanium fork creates a bike with touring-specific geometry, excellent stability and an extremely comfortable ride.
Slider dropouts allow a choice between 650B and 700C wheels, according to whether the bike will be used mainly on- or off-road. The Rohloff hub gears are combined with a conventional chain that is protected from water and dirt by a full chain guard. Thanks to the openable rear triangle, a drive belt can also be used. The geometry, featuring a steeply-angled top tube, allows plenty of options when setting up the bike, whether sportily stretched out or for a more upright position with the emphasis on comfort. Key details like the front thru-axle and the separate braze-ons for the rack and mudguards (allowing shorter bolts) combine to increase overall strength and stability. A wide range of options means that the long-distance rider can put together a bike that is perfectly tailored to his or her needs.
The stainless-steel Reynolds 931 frame doesn’t need paint or interior sealant. It is completely corrosion-proof and scratch-resistant – its sheen will last more or less for ever. Titanium components from Falkenjagd{source: duplicated a few lines later}and a stainless-steel rack system from Tubus form a perfect aesthetic match. The tried-and-tested BSA bottom bracket standard allows easy sourcing of replacement parts. Adjustable dropouts mean easy switching between 650B and 700C wheels. Alongside the standard build with Syntace components, a Falkenjagd-based Titanium package is available, as well as a Tune Components package in a selection of anodised colours. Other options include a SON Edelux II headlamp and SON hub dynamo, a USB charger from Supernova, and SKS-Bluemels mudguards.
