Stainless-steel is a material that remains unmatched. Despite its corrosion resistance, which makes it the perfect material for steel frames, the fact that it is a challenge to work with has always given it an exotic status.
Rennstahl is giving this classic frame material a new lease of life, with flawless craftsmanship, state-of-the-art tube joining technology, and a visual effect that is a clear departure from the ‘retro look’ sometimes associated with steel frames. Lugless joins reduce weight and provide clear, modern lines. Current build standards are incorporated, with details like the PressFit 86.5 bottom bracket shell. The Falkenjagd titanium fork is a perfect fit with the steel frame, in both aesthetic and engineering terms – the results can be both seen and felt. Titanium components round off a racing machine that can be ordered either in a carbon-free build or with top-quality lightweight components.
The frame is available in four standard sizes{source: nach Maß was deleted, also delete ‘standard’?} and with a choice of bottom bracket shells: PF86.5 or PF30. Frame and fork are optimised for 25mm tyres.
The bike can be built with a choice of Shimano and Campagnolo brakes and gears, together with lightweight wheels from Tune Components. The standard build features Syntace components and saddles from Selle Italia or Brooks; a Titanium package is also available, as well as a lightweight Tune Components package in a range of anodised colours.
